The Dutchess County Fair
Time: Open Daily at 10am-10pm
For six days each August, the Dutchess Fairgrounds on Route 9 in Rhinebeck plays the host of up to 400,000 patrons for the Dutchess County Fair. The largest six-day County Fair in New York State is a showplace for agriculture in Dutchess County, highlighted by the big-name talents, one of the finest carnivals in the entire country, free shows and attractions.
Events at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds include Camping World RV Show, Rhinebeck Antique Car Show & Swap Meet, Northeast Outdoor Show, Barn Star’s Antiques at Rhinebeck, Rhinebeck Crafts Festival, Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival, Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival, Oktoberfest Handcrafted at Rhinebeck (A Family Harvest Festival) and the NYS Sheep & Wool Festival.
Autism Community Field Day
EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE. Information, Games, & Activities for all those who are in attendance! On April 18th, 2020 the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in beautiful Rhinebeck, NY will be filled with individuals with autism, their friends and family, and members of the Hudson Valley autism community as we raise awareness about autism and raise funds to increase local resources and opportunities for people with autism. Funds raised will go directly back into the hands of Hudson Valley families, individuals living with autism and service providers, through a simple grant process is overseen by a community review board. Camping World RV Super Show
The Annual Camping World RV Super Show at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, features fold downs, trailer trailers, hybrids, 5th wheels, toy haulers, and destination/park trailers. Close to 200 RVs, new and used, will be on display in addition to Class C and Class A motorized units. Admission and parking are both free.

The Northeast Outdoor Show is an event for those with a deep passion for anything and everything outdoors. The event features everything from Fishing, Hunting, and Boating to Camping, Cycling, Recreational Vehicles, and Travel. Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival
The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce presents the Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. The festival will feature 100 hot-air balloon flights scheduled throughout the weekend. Hot-air balloon launches are planned Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (6:00 PM) as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings (6:00 AM). The festival will also feature evening majestic hot-air balloon moon glows, balloon rides, tether balloon rides, vendors, food trucks and family fun festival activities. Picnic blankets and chairs are welcome and encouraged. Balloon launches are dependent on weather and wind. Balloon launches are at the discretion of the pilot.

The Rhinebeck Crafts Festival is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley and is a destination event not to miss. The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest
The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest is a celebration of the bounty of New York. Oktoberfest Handcrafted at Rhinebeck: A Family Harvest Celebration
Quail Hollow Events presents Rhinebeck’s Oktoberfest at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. This festival brings together the handcrafted, artisanal and agricultural — from wearable fine craft and laudable fine art to the Hudson River Valley’s best brew, wine, specialty foods, and apothecary goods. Kids will interact with farm animals and partake in an agri-venture center and creative free-play, while adults enjoy the season’s best beer, wine, spirits, and gourmet specialties while browsing handmade furniture, jewelry, ceramics, glass, fiber art, and much more.

New York State Sheep & Wool Festival
The Northeast’s thriving sheep industry is showcased and celebrated each year in this famous festival that draws 30,000 visitors from across the country to the lovely village of Rhinebeck. And there’s more here than sheep, llamas, alpacas, and their luscious fibers. Your day will include 300 fiber artists and crafts galore, amazing sheep herding demonstrations and sheepdog trials, a petting zoo, and other children’s activities. Winter Storage at The Fairgrounds
We are no longer accepting Winter Storage Agreements for Campers and Motorhomes at this time. If you would like to submit the agreement along with your payment and be placed on a waitlist, you may do so. We will notify you no later than Nov. 6th if there is space available. Your payment will not be processed unless we have availability.

Vehicles can be removed on Thurs. April 2 & Fri. April 3, 2020, between the hours of 8:30AM – 3:00PM; Sat. April 4, 2020, between the hours of 8:00AM – 11:00AM. All vehicles must be removed BEFORE 12 noon on Sat. April 4, 2020. Any unit not removed before Noon on Saturday will incur a $50/day fee until unit is removed.
