Dutchess County Fair
The Dutchess County Fairground's flagship event, the Dutchess County Fair, is the largest six-day fair in New York State. Aside from minor interruptions, the Fair has been held annually since 1842. The Dutchess County Fair draws as many as 400,000 visitors from a one hundred mile plus radius of Rhinebeck. The fair according to industry "insiders" has long been considered the best six day fair in the country. For its popularity, agricultural integrity and beautiful 162-acre fairgrounds, it would, indeed, be hard to find a better county fair anywhere in the country.
