Wheelchair & Stroller Rentals
(Event Specific - Please Call)
Wheelchair & Stroller Rentals at Dutchess County Fair and some other fairgrounds events. Wheelchairs, strollers and motorized scooters will be available to rent on a first-come, first-serve basis at Main Gate #1, Route 9 Entrance only. Call (845) 876-4000 to confirm dates and availability.

Accessibility
Entrances & aisles are accessible for guests using wheelchairs. Most carnival attractions are accessible, however, carnival staff are not permitted to assist transporting persons to the ride system. They will, however, provide direction to the extent that they are able.
Accommodations have been made on the grounds, in buildings, the grandstand and restrooms to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Accessible parking is available in all public lots. Special needs should be called to the attention of security or fair personnel.

Lost Children Station
Lost Children Station is located by the Main Entrance #1 near the First Aid Station next to Restrooms & Public Telephones.
First Aid Station
Event Medical Services personnel are on duty during events throughout the year and during extended hours at Fair time. The First Aid Station is located near the main restrooms just south of the Main Entrance #1.
ATM Machines
There are 3 ATM machines on the fairgrounds located in the Arts & Crafts Bldg (Bldg E) near the Main Restrooms during all events.
Maps & Directions
Maps of the fairgrounds may be obtained at guest service centers (information booths). Maps are included in the Fair program and are posted at several locations on the grounds. Guest service personnel will provide directions to locations on the grounds. The physical address for internet directions is 6550 Springbrook Ave, Rhinebeck NY 12572. Get driving directions.

Pets
Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds at any time except for service/guide animals for guests with disabilities. Guide animals must have proper identification. ALL ANIMALS MUST HAVE PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION TO ENTER THE GROUNDS.
Weather
All events take place rain or shine.

Group Tours & Discounts
Dutchess County Fairgrounds group rates apply to orders of 10 or more prepaid tickets in total. Two complimentary tickets are provided for guides.
Public Address System
The "Voice of the Fair" is used for informational and emergency purposes only. The P.A. system cannot be used by the public to page lost people. Upon your arrival to the fairgrounds, please be sure to have a pre-determined meeting spot in the event you get separated.
Lost and Found
Lost and found is located at the Show Office in the Administration Bldg on the fairgrounds during all events. While you're at the Fair, Lost & Found is in the State Police building located near First Aid Station and main restrooms.
State Police/Security
All emergency concerns should be directed to security or fairgrounds personnel. Security personnel are on duty 24 hours a day during the Fair, both on the grounds and in the State Police office, located near the main restrooms and the first aid building.
The
following are not allowed ....
- Pets
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades or heelies.
- Cans, bottles or coolers are not allowed.
- Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
Additional Fair Info
In addition to the above information, the following is Dutchess Fair specific:
Ticket Redemption (Fair Only)
tickets can be redeemed at the Fair Office Ticket (map #14) & Power’s Carnival Ticket (map #7) Redemption booths.
Trolleys & Disabled Transports (Fair Only)
Trolleys are available in the parking lots for guest transportation at no charge. Trolleys will patrol the fairgrounds accessible parking areas outside festival gates and will transport people with mobility impairments to the entrance gates from parking lots.
Children's Services (Fair Only)
A Rock & Rest diaper changing area is located next to the First Aid Station.
Lost and Found (Fair Only)
Lost and found is located in the State Police building located near First Aid Station and main restrooms.
