Grandstand General Info

Accessible Seating

Entrances & aisles are accessible for guests using wheelchairs. Most Fairgrounds attractions are accessible, and Fairgrounds staff are not permitted to assist transporting persons to the ride system. They will, however, provide direction to the extent that they are able.

Accommodations have been made on the grounds, in buildings, the grandstand and restrooms to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Accessible Parking available in designated areas. Special needs should be called to the attention of security or fair personnel. For further information, call (845) 876-4000.

Admission to the Fair

Everyone entering the fairgrounds must present a valid ticket of admission, including those attending Grandstand concerts (where applicable). Concert tickets do not include admission to the fair.

Cameras and Recording Devices

Audio and video recording equipment is not allowed in the Grandstand. Contact the ticket office (845) 876-4000 for information on specific shows concerning still photography.

Food, Drink & Artist Merchandise

Food, drinks, beer and artist merchandise are available for purchase within the Grandstand venue. Beer will be served until approximately one hour before the scheduled conclusion of the performance. IDs will be checked for beer sales. Coolers are not allowed.

Grandstand Entrances

Ticket holders may enter the seating area at the east or west end of the Grandstand. All patrons are subject to search. (Wheelchair patrons see “Accessible Seating listed above.”)

Reserved Seats

All paid Grandstand show seating is reserved, unless advertised as general admission. Seating consists of plaza seats (folding chairs) and elevated main stand seats (theater-style).

Secondary Ticket Market

Consumer Warning – The Dutchess Fair uses bar code scanning for Grandstand ticket admissions. As a result, fans should be careful when purchasing tickets and make certain the seller is a Dutchess Fair licensed ticketing agent.

Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Dutchess Fair Box Office. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent in the secondary market (scalper, ticket broker, eBay, Craigslist, etc.), you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets which may result in refusal of admission.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed in the Grandstand seating areas. Smoking is allowed on the plaza level of the east and west ends behind the white lines.  Ask County Fair personnel for further direction.

All concerts go on, rain or shine. Concert bookings do not allow for refunds or exchanges in the event of rain. If weather appears threatening, please bring rain jackets or ponchos.
